Malloy played 11 games for Danbury, scored 2 goals with 5 assists for 7 points, and had a +7 rating.
It'll be interesting to figure out the reasoning behind waiving Malloy, but hopefully Caranci delivers. Certainly seemed as though he would in game 1.
Now for the bad news. Malloy was picked up off waivers by the Aviators early today.
I apologize for no game coverage this weekend, had a paintball event to be at. (My other obsession)
- Danbury had a hard fought victory at home Saturday night against the Aviators 3-1. Nothing short of the usual high intensity lots of fisticuffs hockey. After that game they remain the only undefeated home team in the FHL.
- Danbury played away at Broome last night and dropped it 6-4 in what seems to be a new trend every time the two teams meet. A barn burning, goalies hating their stats, low scoring football game kind of hockey.
Danbury is back on for a two home game set Thanksgiving weekend against Broome and Rome.
