Live coverage starting shortly before 7pm right here.
- Broome got railed by the Warriors 9-4 last night, allowing the Warrior to cement their first place standing.
- Danbury dropped an OT game 5-4 to Rome.
- Broome has been a solid team so far, going 3-1-1 on the season. A win tonight allows Danbury to tie them for 2nd place.
- Their first meeting of the season came earlier this week @ Broome, where they won 5-3. This is Danbury's first home meeting with Broome, and they have a critical two points on the line.
- The first game saw Niedert v. Skoggard in net. So far it looks like we'll have a repeat this evening.
- Broome has no particular players to watch this evening; on the contrary, their entire team would fit under that distinction. They've been working very well together and nearly all of them contribute points. Danbury will need to be in top form to hold them at bay.
- Malloy has been a productive player for Danbury every time he hits the ice, and currently holds on to a +7 rating, the highest on the team. Willock, Karlov, and DiMarzo have been racking up the points for the Whalers lately, and I don't expect things to change this evening.
- Although Broome plays very well at even strength, their PP and PK are ranked 6th and 5th in the league, respectively. If Danbury can play a clean game tonight they may be able to capitalize on Broome errors for some points.
- Aviators play Warriors, and Privateers play Rome, also at 7pm tonight. Will update on those if possible.
See you at 7!
